German-Potato-Pancakes

Ingredients:


2 lbs russet potatoes or any starchy potato, peeled finely grated

1 yellow onion, grated, very fine

2 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

flour cup

frying oil

Instructions:


The first step: After grating the potatoes, the usage of a towel, squeeze out all of the liquid from the potatoes properly Place the tired potatoes in a massive bowl with the grated onion, salt, egg, and flour. Mix it well together along with your hands, you need it to be quite tacky. Add a touch greater flour if it is too sticky

2nd step: Heat three tablespoons of oil in a frying pan Put 1 to at least one cup of the mixture into the recent skillet

Third step: Fry for 3 to 5 mins on every facet till golden.

Drain in brief on paper towels

The fourth step Serve straight away while warm with applesauce and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, bitter cream, or maybe yogurt

It also can be served with meat and broth, using it as a side dish.
