
Cube steaks, you’ll need 3 cubes.
3 Cups.Of sliced mushrooms.
1 small onion, I sliced it into thin slices.
Sea salt.
Fresh Black pepper.
Texas cajun seasoning.
2 small sp.Of All-purpose Flour.
2 Cups.Of chicken stock.
1/4 tsp.Of thyme.
Vegetable oil.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1:
I seasoned the cube steaks in a bowl with salt, black pepper, and a broad pinch of Texas cajun seasoning on both sides.
Step 2:
I rub the steaks on both sides with 2 wide spoonfuls of flour.
Step 3:
I heated a 1⁄2 cup of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 4:
When heated, I cooked the steaks on each side for 3 minutes. Then I put the browned steaks in a medium dish and I removed the oil from the skillet to let the vegetables to cooked, about 2 tablespoons.
Step 5:
After that, I added the sliced onion and mushrooms to the pan and mixed well.
Step 6:
And using salt and black pepper to season, I cooked until light gold.
Step 7:
Then, I applied 2 teaspoons of flour and I mixed in the chicken broth to cover the veggies.
Step 8:
I poured and mix well to incorporate. Then I placed the steaks and I coated in the gravy to sear to thicken.
